“Story follows a young man Heo Jun (Yoon Si-Yoon) and Seo-Ri who was born a princess but became a witch. Seo-Ri’s mother Queen Sim was unable to have a child. She went to a shaman to help her have a child. With the help of shaman Hong-Joo’s black magic, Queen Sim was able to have a boy and girl twins. The girl, Seo-Ri, was put under a curse and abandoned deep in the mountains. She meets Heo Jun there.”
I would admit I stopped watching until episode 16 because I don’t like the unnecessary plot twist. I got sick of the villain’s unending reasoning of revenge and her mendacious manipulative ways. I think it was better to sum up at 16 and avoid dragging the story to 20.
I only watched the finale (episode 20) with little expectation and yes it was achingly beautiful. It was all there in the end.
Though this drama wasn’t without a flaw, but I would say it was still sweet and lovely. They have managed to create a protagonist with beautiful characters and a lot of compassion to share. A lightness of humor and romance is a plus. The performances are well acted and visuals are quite spectacular.
