Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) is an immortal goblin and protector of souls. He lives with an amnesiac grim reaper (Lee Dong-wook) who is in charge of taking deceased souls. Together, they see the dead off into the afterlife. One day Kim Shin meets a girl, Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-eun), who has a special ability to see ghosts, and is destined to be his bride and return him to ashes.

Goblin came with a bang and went out with a bang-bang. The story was written very well; unique, strange, but beautiful. The love affair was pretty epic. It was a parade of love, death, goodbyes, and chances. You will witness the lonely soul who outlives others because of immortality and to understand how to value life from no purpose and emptiness.

This drama is almost perfect in every aspect. The plot was exceptional. The cinematography was amazing. There were a lot of beautiful and picturesque scenes,  the outfits were classy and even the OST gave a major plus. It seems everything fits together perfectly.

No questions from the casts appearances and acting. Our Goblin Gong Yoo ( Kim Shin) has the ability to capture each emotion he portrays. His eyes can act, can laugh and cry without tears. He acted all out seamlessly. His bride Kim Go-Eun (Ji Eun Tak) plays a very cute character. She has a solid acting ability and really a versatile actress. Along with the other actors, they were able to develop their charms and create their own highlights. It wasn’t very difficult to recognize their significance at all.

A must watch Korean drama. Prepare your mind to blow and your heart to melt up.

Verdict: 10/10
