“Alice loves Teddy, her best friend, but has never told him. When she buys him a lottery ticket that turns out to be a winner, their lives are changed forever and their friendship is put to the ultimate test”
To be honest, the first thing that really got my attention was the cover of this book, it was really calming. But what would you do if you won the lottery? A question that excites me, because I myself is fun of buying a lottery and still waiting for my own windfall.
This book gives us the opportunity to dream about what you have to do when you have a lot of bucks in your hand. What are the choices and actions you would make, what are the changes you would take and how it affects the relationship?
I would say this is not my favorite book and my favorite story, but I find pleasure in knowing all the characters were able to fight the challenges and review their lives who they want to be. The discovery and decisions are not only written to complete the whole story but to inspire the readers with its own discernment.
Nevertheless, this book is still recommendable, but it never held a spot on my heart.
