Hisashi (Takeru Satoh) and Mai (Tao Tsuchiya) are set to have their wedding ceremony in 3 months, but Mai falls ill and lapses into a coma. Hisashi does not give up on his fiance and prays for her recovery. Finally, Mai wakes up, but she doesn’t have any memory of Hisashi.
Since this movie is based on the true story of Hisashi and Mai Nakahara, I could only say what a wonderful and inspiring love story that has been shared with us. You will truly realize what love can do and how it was able to endure such adversity. It wasn’t easy to wait for eight years where all you could have is the only hope. I was crying all along while watching this film, but of course, the feeling of joy that everything was put back into the right place is such a recognition of God’s blessing and miracle.
Takeru Satoh and Tao Tsuchiya‘s characterization are very impressive. Without a glitch, the flow of their blended feelings has been performed realistically. There’s no way you won’t like this movie. It will show you the limitless, endurance and faith of love’s capability.
