Woo-Jin (So Ji-Sub) takes care of his son Ji-Ho (Kim Ji-Hwan) alone after his wife Soo-A (Son Ye-Jin) passed away. Before she passed away, she promised she would be back on a rainy day one year later. One year later, Soo-A appears again, but she does not remember anything.
This film is all about family, love, tragedy, promise, and hope. A refreshing and heartwarming story with the sense of aftermath reality when you lose someone you loved. But don’t worry, this movie brings a light humor, life’s appreciation and unexpected twist. It will never bore you at all.
The visuals and chemistry of both actors are perfect for the story. Acting-wise, it was convincing and relatable. The cinematography brings the scenery to be poignant and unforgettable.
I would recommend this movie to all kinds of viewers. It will teach us how to value our family. Enjoy watching!
