MOVE ON TO THE NEXT ACT

I have never expected this moment.

After fifteen years, he came back to town to meet his son. To compensate for the lost time with him. To make him feel that he existed in his life, that he was a father before and ready to be again.

After long years of believing himself that he was the victim, he accepted the truth. And knowing the truth helped him to gather all his strength to face and ask forgiveness of those he had caused pain.

It is not easy to bow down and retreat, and though it will never change the past surely it will do the future.

Let’s have a forgiving heart this Lenten season.
