OLD LOVE SONGS

To be honest, I really don’t have the new songs in my playlist right now. Nothing hits me for the long past months. I feel some of the new lyrics are empty or maybe are just my feelings.

And yes, nothing beats my favorite old love songs. I think because they are expressive and more genuine. I think it was written to get into people’s heart no matter, it will hit in the market or not. I am not saying that all new songs are opposite to be described, it’s just when I listen to an old love song, all memories come back, whether a happy or sad one, it just made me smile.

Do you have some favorite lines from your old love songs? I have.

“That I can change the world
I would be the sunlight in your universe
You would think my love was really something good
Baby if I could
Change the world”

“You can’t get to no better days
Unless you make it through the night baby.
(Be patient) Oh, you will see those better days
But you gotta be patient”

“I know I need to be in love
I know I’ve wasted too much time
I know I ask perfection of a quite imperfect world
And fool enough to think that’s what I’ll find”

“I don’t need a lot of things,
I can get by with nothing
Of all the blessings a life can bring,
I’ve always needed something
But I’ve got all I want
When it comes to loving you
You’re my only reason,
You’re my only truth.”

“Don’t know what to do
Whenever you are near
Don’t know what to say
My heart is floating in tears
When you pass by I could fly”

“Love of my life, you’ve hurt me
You’ve broken my heart and now you leave me
Love of my life, can’t you see?
Bring it back, bring it back
Don’t take it away from me, because you don’t know
What it means to me”

“If you ever leave
Baby, you would take away
everything real in my life
And tell me now, how do I live without you?”

Oh, and I remember them. Nostalgia.
