Choose to ignore the adversity today and be nice. You can’t afford to lose one day by being mad and resentful.
So smile, be kind to yourself and to others. We never know, it makes all the difference.
A girl is surrounded by suspicious people and quietly whispers, “Save me!” in a dark neighborhood alleyway, and a couple of unemployed youths hear her and run to her rescue. They discover that she’s trapped in some kind of pseudo-religious cult and try to help her, but what ensues is a sequence of horrifying tension-filled events that make us wonder more about the science of the human psyche.
Save Me isn’t my average drama. I haven’t seen any plot like this before in kdrama world that ventures sensitive topics and issues of religious cults. Each episode was gripping and I was very impressed with the thrilling and cliffhanger moments all the way to the final act.
The plot was well done with uniqueness and capricious. Everything was all written with interest and suspense. All cast were amazing from the main leads down to villains. Each character had a story to depict which added to the mysteriousness of the whole episode.
You’ll get angry, thrilled, scared and laugh with this drama, absolutely, you will never get jaded. Let’s go to the boat of salvation, our wishes will be fulfilled.
I know that day seems all went wrong.
For you, it was a sudden and thorny condition to be acknowledged. That’s how this life appears to be; straight and suddenly throwing you curve balls and getting you into a string of pieces. I know you are terrified, we are. Cancer is horrifying.
But we know you are strong and filled with so much faith. We believe that everything will end very fine. I don’t know how to comfort you in words, but never forget that you are always within our prayers. God will hear us and will never abandon you.
I will be keeping fingers crossed for your successful and speedy recovery. The thought that you will be much better after this trial is very comforting to all of us.
Until then, don’t fall in there.
Choi Kang Soo is a deliveryman. In spite of his humble beginnings, Choi Kang Soo is fearless and gives it all in everything he does. Lee Dan Ah is another delivery worker. She hates her current socioeconomic status so much that she, like many young people, calls her country “Hell Joseon.” Together, Choi Kang Soo and Lee Dan Ah have a budding competition and romance in their quest for glory. They compete to conquer life but, as our two delivery workers soon learn, being the strongest does not guarantee success.
Strongest Delivery is not a solid drama, however, you will enjoy the relaxing mode of the show. The plot shows the hitches of what is in the outside world and how does our young adult react themselves to beat the uncertainty, competition, and problems realistically.
You will definitely know the life and struggles of our deliverymen, that this job for them is not a laidback at all. It might change your mindset and appreciate what you have right now. It indicates also that no matter how strong you are, there is no guarantee to have an instant success, you might still stumble and face your endpoint, nevertheless, second chances are evident. You can still go on.
Characters development in this drama was profound. The love chemistry from our main leads are not the superb, but for the second leads are quite enjoyable to watch. A lot of motorcycles in this drama, and of course let’s be nice to our deliverymen because at some point they make our purchasing life easier, and just like us, they are working so hard to have a decent life.
Finally, summer is about to end. While the Starks from Game of thrones prepared for the winter with warning and vigilance, for us, it is the most anticipated season of the time.
Since the weather in UAE is starting to get cooler especially at night with less humidity, the gang decided to have our first change season outdoor activity away from home.
We headed to Umm Al-Quwain open beach which is perfect for a night-time barbecue, crabbing, swimming and storytelling with friends.
Such a wonderful feeling to just lay on the sand, thinking nothing else for a while.
Beachside around 8:00 in the morning. No one was able to meet the sunrise.
This little guy woke up before us and enjoying most of his time walking, swimming and playing in the sand.
Happiness is walking on the beach.
If you were stung by a Jellyfish, I’d totally pee on you.
Clear your mind of CAN’T.
Be your own kind of beautiful.
Only dead fish go with the flow.
If you don’t drink how will your friends know you love them at 2:00 am?
Nothing happens in a week. I don’t mean it literally like there is lacking important events in my life. What I mean is, everything sorts of in total stasis.
There is this getting up early, and the showering, the taste of coffee and going to work. There is also after five, and the train to home, the dinner, the chatting, the bed to sleep and the rising in the next day.
This may sound a little bit repetitive, but I don’t mind at all. Who am I to complain my life when there are so many out there who are lacking what I have? It may look like n ordinary days, but I have learned to enjoy it. I always used to appreciate the normal progress of my life, and that I have concluded, though I am more becoming a dull person, I think it will be okay.
I will try to make the best of my life from what I have because it feels light, and it feels heavenly at times.
Happy Sunday to all!
Drama series is set during the Kingdom of Goryeo.
Won, the crown prince of Goryeo, has a pretty appearance, but he also a lust for conquest. He is best friends with Rin who is a son of a royal family and his bodyguard. When beautiful San, the daughter of the richest man, appears in front of the two young men, the three become good friends, but things change after Won and Rin both fall in love with San.
When I remember this drama, I will think of as bittersweet. A kind of drama suffered from political conflicts, a love triangle, and friendship that has been defied all the odds.
The plot is nothing extraordinary to compare, but the execution was great. The actor’s portrayals are convincible at any rate. The cinematography and the ost are also beautiful. Though they have all these positive points, I didn’t feel any emotional connections and I was wondering how I finished this drama without whining.
Nonetheless, if you want a period drama with the right amount of conflict, not so scary villains, plain romance, anticipated plot, beautiful scenery, and faces, then the story of king’s in love will suit your taste.
“One of the luckiest things that can happen to you in life is,
I think, to have a happy childhood.”
That is me. I had a happy childhood which I always look back to with fond memories.
Even though I was fully aware of our financial struggles at that time, with our parent’s disagreements, siblings arguments and when I couldn’t have the things I wanted, this sort of things never stops me from becoming a normal happy person. Why? because my parents allowed me to fill my childhood memories with excitement, adventure, challenges and a lot of time to play despite their shortcomings and lapses.
I have so many precious memories of my childhood; outdoors in the dark with moonlight seeing, climbing high up the trees, riding bikes in the streets, making wood guns, street games, hide and seek with friends, digging holes at the beach, jumping in the waves, summer spent in the countryside, reading pocket novels, infatuation, and some church activities. In those years, a lot to said about how good life was.
And now getting old makes me yearn for the simplicity of life. I want to feel that every new day is more interesting than the last. I want to turn back time as a child when I have only to believed that nothing was impossible, that small things seem big of importance. When all my fears just fade away, and only the cuts from my knees getting me pain. I want to remember the joy with which my mother’s touch gave me tranquility or my father’s beautiful kiss on my cheek.
I wish “I could take a single childhood memory and blow it up into a bubble and live inside it forever.”
“Sometimes in life, you find a special friend.
Someone who changes your life just by being part of it. Someone who makes you laugh until you can’t stop. Someone who makes you believe that something is really good in the world. Someone who convinces you that there is an unlocked door just waiting for you to open it.
When you’re down and the world seems dark and empty, your forever friend lifts you up in spirit and makes that dark and empty world suddenly seem bright and full. Someone who changes your life just by being part of it.
Your forever friend gets you through the hard times, the sad times and the confused times. If you turn and walk away, your forever friend follows. If you lose your way, your forever friend guides you and cheers you on. Your forever friend holds your hand and tells you that everything is going to be okay.
Those are forever friendship.
If you find such a friend, you feel happy and complete because you need not worry. You have a forever friend and forever has no end.”
The only person that you should worry about disappointing is yourself. After all, every deed you do will reflect in your life at the same point.
The biggest regrets in life are the risks you never took because you thought them impossible. But also remember that every great achievement in life was once considered impossible.
So go and live every dream and face every challenge. You are the victory in every chance you take or choice you made.
If your heart hurts a little after letting go of someone or something, that’s okay. It just means that your feelings were genuine. No one likes ends. And no one likes pain.
But sometimes we have to put things that were once good to an end after they turn toxic to our wellbeing. Not every new beginning is meant to last forever. And not every person who walks into your life is meant to stay.
Twelve years, after dying in a car accident, Sung Hae Sung (Yeo Jin Goo) suddenly appears alive and well not having aged a day. With the help of his friends and his childhood love Jong Won (Lee Yeon-Hee), Hae Sung sets out to make things right for his family and solve the mysteries surrounding his death and resurrection.
Reunited Worlds is far from a perfect drama. Though the plot was quite stimulating, along with the way it became sluggish with flaws and inconsistencies. I was about to drop it honestly, but then I want to know how it would end, hoping a spark might light up before the whole episode turned into a merely passing show.
What I like in this drama is the beautiful message about love, friendship, and family. As our main lead resurrected to solve the mystery of his death, he has to help his siblings to be reunited too.
The finale didn’t stand up as I expected, but it was good enough. The writer must be very generous to give them all redemption.
Yeo Jin Goo acting is astonishing and flawless.
I like the friendship between the six friends, their relationship is warm and very supportive of each other.
I don’t find any chemistry of our lovey-dovey. Lee Yeon Hee’s acting is dry and flimsy.
I know it is difficult for you, as it is for me, to be separated for so long. The longer I am away from you, the greater is my yearning to be with you again. This has got to be harder than anything that I have ever done, being this close to you but yet so far away.
I had to write to you today and, in a way, try to sooth this feeling that took over me so strongly. To miss someone is something you can’t explain; and being in a painful consequence of love, it may even be harder to describe than love itself.
I needed to tell you how much I am missing you today and how good it would make me feel to have your skin close to mine, to hold hands, to feel your breath and to look into your eyes. I miss the simple things, yet simple as they may be, they can only come true when you are near.
Until that moment arrives, I send to you across the miles, my tender love and my warm embrace.
In real life, Kwon Yoo (JI Chang-wook) is unemployed, but in the virtual game world he is the best leader. Kwon Yoo is then framed for a murder. With the help of hacker Yeo-Wool (SHIM Eun-kyung), he tries to uncover the truth behind the murder case.
This movie is a stylish action packed with engaging, spot-on characters, good pacing, amazing visuals and a balance of boggling thrills and likely predictable plot.
I can’t imagine our world will be as easy to fabricate the truth.
A must watch movie.
It was summer when cousins gathered together at their grandparent’s house. It was always fun to go there after school break. The beauty of nature, the inviting sea breath, and the fresh food, all these sorts make their vacation more enjoyable every year.
But at that summer, horrible things happened.
When Liza’s grandmother out for two days to visit her sick friend in the city, they were left with their grandfather. He’s more fun to be with and lenient, but behind his kind face, there was a secret hidden.
On the first night, grandpa told her to sleep on their bed since grandma was not there. She thought he was her favorite because he let her in. But what had happened is never she can imagine.
At the crack of dawn, she woke up with a hand on her body, touching her small breast down to hers, from hers to her breast – again and again. She was frightened, she froze with fear and realized it was her grandpa’s doing. Why was he touching her? Since when he became a monster? Does she have to shout and call for help? With her eyes closed, she prayed to wake up from that terrifying dream.
The touching had stopped. He then kneeled at the altar, praying the early worship. She knew then, it wasn’t just a delusion, and while shutting her eyes in pretense, she cried in silence and despair. All she could see was a demon praying to his horrible god.
On the second night, grandpa asked the other cousin to stay with him in the bedroom. She must be the second favorite. She wanted to stop her, to tell her she knew what will happen. She needed to protect her, but how? the words can’t even start to mutter and her face clouded with so much fear. How can she help her?
And the door closed in deafening silence.
In the morning before grandma came, she decided to call home and beg to pick her up. She wanted to tell her parents about it, but she was afraid, not only for herself but for the entire clan to be in chaos and shame. She even doubts if they would believe her story or they might punish her. She can’t trust no one. She can’t even touch her own body and what will happen if no one believes her, maybe she can’t live anymore.
Liza never talks about what had happened in that summer to anyone, even to her closest friend. She embraced to be quiet while mentally and emotionally shattered. She decided to heal her wounds alone even it was hard to escape the image of that night. She even convinced herself that he was just touching her. She did everything to pull herself up and not to be defited by the monster. And what about her cousin? They have never talked after then, but she thought about her all the time, feeling sorry that she wasn’t able to keep her safe at that night, that she was weak and coward.
When her grandpa suffered from incurable disease and on the verge of suffering, she felt safe. She stared at his devil face, mocked him in silence and with a sly smile said, you can now rot in hell.
When he died and send him to his final rest, Liza was there, not to weep, but to make it sure he cannot be able to live again. While everyone was grieving, she was rejoicing. While the rest talked about their good memories with him, she was silent and deaf. While they prayed for grandpa’s soul to be in heaven, she begs God to punish him.
And now he’s gone, she wants peace in her heart.
Aoi and Riku are childhood friends attending the same college. For most of his life, Riku has secretly had access to a mysterious vinyl record, belonging to his uncle, which he uses to travel back in time to correct embarrassing events. When Aoi is killed in a traffic accident, Riku attempts to use the record to save her life.
Turning back the clock will appeal to anyone who has ever wished to do over something again, but this film highlighted that you cannot change what is destined for you.
Honestly, my eyes were bawling while watching this movie. I feel the profound love of our protagonist to save his girl’s life while she was pleading for him to let her go. The death of our loved ones must be our greatest fear and yet, life must go on for those who are left behind.
I like the film’s simplicity and direct message. The good memories that we’ve experienced and the taste of living our life to the fullest with someone we love is sometimes filled with bittersweet.
I recommend this movie for those who wants to have a good cry with the best music on the background.
It is very rare for a drama movie that makes you think at the end. If you want that kind of genre, then this film is perfect for you.
The plot is very exceptional and peculiar. One of the main characters Emmi comes from a parallel universe where time flows in the opposite direction of this universe. She has to meet Takatoshi only 30 days for every 5 years. When they both reached the same age of 20 which is only once in the entire cycle, their love story begins and unfold the mystery. You must watch it from the beginning to end, and everything will make sense.
This film makes me think about the situation of our two main characters and the poignant consequences of their fate. It gives me a realization of the unfathomable reality of life, that time steals away all of the opportunities we get if we don’t take advantage of them when they come. Just like with our protagonist, 30 days wouldn’t be enough to be together, and yet they made everything possible out of it.
The story is unconventional, and yet my heart still aches.
passion to travel, read, write and express your innerself
"She recovers through flight, dance, writing, and cooking up a storm."
This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.
