Deadpool: You’re probably thinking “This is a superhero movie, but that guy in the suit just turned that other guy into a fucking kebab.” Surprise, this is a different kind of superhero story.

It was fun watching this movie. I forgot I was mad at the person watching beside me, I kept on beating him with an excitement.

Remember & Imaginary Cat – Kdrama

Back to back for Yoo Seung-ho drama fever!. We missed him last year, but not anymore. After his come back from military service, two of his dramas are airing right now.

Remember –  War of the son

Seo Jin-woo has the condition of Hyperthymesia which allows him to remember almost every day in perfect detail. To prove the innocence of his father, Jin-woo becomes a lawyer. He struggles to prove his father’s innocence who begins to lose his memory due to Alzheimer’s.

Imaginary Cat

Hyun Jong Hyun (Yoo Seung Ho) works part-time at the Naeil Bookstore, but his dream of being a successful webtoon writer has been hampered by his emotionally-wounded, self-centered personality. On one rainy day, he meets a kindred spirit, a stray cat he brings home and names Bok Gil. From then on, Bok Gil (voiced by Han Ye Ri) becomes his only confidant. Though she can’t offer advice, Bok Gil is a faithful source of comfort and support as he goes through difficult times. The story is told from both Hyun’s and Bok Gil’s differing points of view.

So, lets begin!

I almost feel my first love while reading this book.  I remember the air-out-of-your-lungs experience every time I see him. Though I didn’t end up with him, but it was like a good feeling back then; sad and wonderful.

The last three words long remains unsettled in my mind. The actual ending was kind of cliff-hanger, but it makes sense after all, it was bittersweet but very true to reality.

You’re the kind of person I wanna be with when I want to be alone.”

“Based upon the best-selling novel by James Dashner.  When Thomas wakes up trapped in a massive maze with a group of other boys, he has no memory of the outside world other than strange dreams about a mysterious organization known as W.C.K.D. Only by piecing together fragments of his past with clues he discovers in the maze can Thomas hope to uncover his true purpose and a way to escape.”

I haven’t read the books so I was hoping for a satisfying sequel.  Generally, I like it. I was entertained but I think the kids will love it more.

Weekend Movies [Day 17]

images (2)

Frozen Flower.  A 2008  South Korean Movie.

The movie started out as a secret relationship turn into something dangerous and deceiving.  It is the shadow game between love, loyalty and duties.   I like the masterpiece.

Masquerade. A 2012 Korean movie drew praises of being beautifully written and emotionally involvement.  I agree to that.

A royal body double who followed his conscience to save his country to be crumpled, exercise more humanitarian procedures, showing affection & appreciation.

I had fun.

Verdict: 10/10
