I give 10/10 to my Ji Chang Wook. He's totally hot as grumpy and quick tempered prosecutor who hated by lawyers and most of the criminals.
8/10 for Nam Ji-Hyun who was able to present the character of Bong-Hee as a feisty lawyer despite being accused as a murderer and experience a lot of trouble in life and in love.
The smartest villain for the 2nd quarter of the year goes to Dong-Ha. Without a doubt, I'll give you my 10/10. You deserve it because I really hate you for being so clever and vicious on your crime.
To halabeonimLee Dek Hwa, my goodness, I hope you will be my grandpa. For the entire episodes, you make me laugh. You were the ice breaker of the group. I can't imagine you without in this show, it might bore me. 10/10
I hope I have a friend like you who is very loyal and supportive. I hated you when you almost ignore your own feelings for the sake of friendship and for the happiness of others. 8/10
Jang Hyuk-Jin, I almost cried when I thought you will die on this show (sorry spoiler). You are the father of the group. Quite dependable and very supportive. Everyone cried when you are struggling to survive in the midst of your death. 8/10
To the ladies who are the cheater in this drama, good job. I never disliked you at all because you set some flavors to our main cast's relationship. It's difficult to hate you both because you were gorgeous and resemblance to all women who need to be understood and loved. 8/10.
Plot: About Noh Ji-wook (Ji Chang-wook), a prosecutor and Eun Bong-hee (Nam Ji-hyun), a prosecutor trainee and how they work together on a mysterious case involving a sly psychopath murderer.Verdict: 8/10
Detective Seo Do-cheol is tough and merciless when it comes to crime. But while investigating a high-profile case, Seo finds out that arrogant young millionaire Jo Tae-oh — the third-generation heir to powerful conglomerate Sinjin Group — is pulling some strings behind the scenes. However, no matter how rigorously Seo's team pursues him, Jo always escapes with the help of his wealth and connections.
Veteran is nerve-racking in the way it masterfully mixes hardcore action, allows a brief post for a comic break, then resumes the suspense. I feel like this movie creates a new Jackie Chan chic. It was fun, poignant and has a full blown-out combat thrill with good cops and bad asses.
All the characters in this movie are not wasted. They made the story even more appealing, especially Yoo Ah In who did a great job of portraying a ruthless spoiled sociopathic heir vs. Hwang Jung Min, the hilarious and stubborn cop. Watching them fight head to head was very impressive since they have noted that "no police has ever touched one of the super rich." You'll see how this two brutally fight with each other.
This movie has its all own blast of style and swagger. It showcases the unjust system in the world that always presenting to us, but with perfect rhythm.
This movie is based on real events from the harrowing life story of a special school for the hearing-impaired students in Gwangju Inhwa School, South Korea.
Shocking details has been revealed of their systematic beatings and rapes both girls and boys. It’s honestly impossible to watch this movie without feeling fury and hopeless because those children face an uphill battle for justice. It shows a brutal reality of cronyism, corruption and merely act of evil.
If you’re going to watch this movie, be ready to hate, to cry and offer prayers to all those who are victims of sexual abuse and injustice.
Bad guys are forming a team of “top criminals” to catch other criminals. How interesting, right?
This drama is full of bad guys and bad ass which packs strings of big punches and blood. The plot is quite complex, well what do we expect of people that have their own criminal cases, creating a squad immediately, while judging and suspecting one another? it must a chaos, right?
Bad guys will kick you a bickering and rivalry among the criminals and eventually see them becoming a team. With a whirlwind story, a twist and a drama, you will definitely like this one.
“I’m Seoul Special Unit Prosecutor Park Jung-woo.”
Ji Sung. My favorite Korean actor. He is excellent, versatile and his skills is a top notch. Why Am I saying this? because, in this drama, he will grab your attention from episode 1 to the finale with his detailed acting abilities. He was superb! He sent chills down on my spine and leave me speechless.
Defendant was truly an enjoyable ride. It’s not a surprise they got the impressive ratings that broke its own record. The story depicted not only about corruption, violence, and prejudice, but it’s all about love. A kind of love that you would fight to attain truth and justice, a love that was never returned and lead you to become a twisted person, a love that will give you endless strength to fight.
I would say that this drama upped not only because of the strong plot presented, the acting was astounding too. The cast is actually quite large, but despite, everyone’s character played a significant role to their best (especially the villain) which help the show become more thrilling and remarkable.
If you want to be desperate, lunatic and emotional, this drama is for you.
I have never seen as dark, brutal and tenacious crime show in Korean drama like VOICE. It was really violent, bloody and quite disturbing.
The Voice did well by giving us some thrills and story to follow. Despite some holes and vague details that never been raised, it was still a decent drama to sit back and feel the horror of sheer evil.
Comments have flooded regarding the villain’s performance and looks. He was definitely a sexy monster with convincing acting. He has raised the flag for villains.
Kim Jae-Wook as Mo Tae-Goo
Lee Ha-Na as Kang Kwon-Joo and Jang Hyuk as Moo Jin-Hyuk
For the two protagonists, they are truly perfect for the story. Both achieved a stunning, well-knit and exceptional delivery of action and intensity.
The finale was wrap up according to my expectation, it gave me a fresh air to breath after all those bloody images from the victims I have seen. This drama passed a great message that everyone is a little bit of psychopath, it only takes a little mistake to be a murderer.
A drama centered around the police of a 112 emergency call center. Two detectives teamed up to catch a serial killer who murdered their family. Moo Jin Hyuk (Jang Hyuk)’s life spiraled out of control after his wife was murdered. He starts to put himself together after he meets Kang Kwon Joo (Lee Ha Na), US-graduated voice-profiler, who lost her police father to the same serial killer years before. They work together on the 112 (emergency telephone number) call center team.
Six season has just ended! To wrap it all, Arya Stark made it back for her “kill-list.” Margaery and everyone else is dead and Cersei Lannister on her way to become a mad queen for sure. Daenerys Targaryen’s heading straight for King’s landing and makes Tyrion Lannister hand of the Queen. Bran goes back in time to the tower of joy. Littlefinger’s ultimate ambition to take the Iron throne with Sansa as his queen. Lady Mormont’s conviction to support Jon. Ramsay’s cream to death when the hounds devour him ( I was clapping and laughing, I just really hate him) What else? of course, my love Jon Snow, crowned as King of North is not Ned’s son, but his nephew. Oh boy, it was good!
Shall be waiting again for the next year season. Good speed Game of Thrones!
