Chucky:If this is what it takes to be human, then I'd rather take my chances as a supernaturally-possessed doll! It's much less complicated! Think about it! What's so great about being human? You get sick! You get old! As a doll, I'm infamous! I am Chucky! The killer doll!
I grew up with Chucky through watching all his movie since 1988. From totally feeling terrified, I became comfortable with his notorious killing to the point that he no longer frightens me. But, I just really like him, sounds weird? Some of my friends told me too.
When I saw the Chucky doll collection, I really wanted to purchase it, but the price is approximately AED 400 / USD 110.00 which is impossible for me to buy at this critical financial moment of my life. I’m pretty sure though, I couldn’t bring him at home because everyone hates him and it will be tragic for me to see that they couldn't love him enough.
So, just stay there, Chucky, for a bit of time, someone might buy and accept you for who you are. You will never feel alone again.Aja!
“This is me. I think it’s apparent I need to rethink my life a little bit. What’s my problem? First of all, I’m a rat, which means life is hard. And second, I have a highly developed sense of taste and smell.”
Groundhog Dayis a day celebrated on February 2. According to folklore, if it is cloudy when a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day, then spring will come early; if it is sunny, the groundhog will supposedly see its shadow and retreat back into its burrow, and the winter weather will persist for six more weeks.
A TV weatherman working for a local station in Pennsylvania (Phil) wakes up the next morning with the strangest sense of living the same day over again. No matter what he does, he’s stuck in February 2, 1992.
The movie was great. It is well-written, well-acted, and very positive and moving. Though some of the scenes deals with depression and undertakes a series of suicide attempts, seduces women, steals money, drives recklessly, and gets thrown in jail, but at the end Phil (Bill Murray) endeavors to improve himself and became a better person.
It makes sense that the day is not a redo; it’s a “one more” chance.
“Based upon the best-selling novel by James Dashner. When Thomas wakes up trapped in a massive maze with a group of other boys, he has no memory of the outside world other than strange dreams about a mysterious organization known as W.C.K.D. Only by piecing together fragments of his past with clues he discovers in the maze can Thomas hope to uncover his true purpose and a way to escape.”
I haven’t read the books so I was hoping for a satisfying sequel. Generally, I like it. I was entertained but I think the kids will love it more.
His majesty King Henry and the Duke of Suffolk are sitting together and had a little conversation… the king ask the Duke.
King Henry: “What loss, your Grace, is to man most irrecoverable?”
Charles: “His virtue.”
King Henry: “No, for by his actions he may redeem his virtue.”
Charles: “Then his honor.”
King Henry: “No, for again, he may find the means to recover it, even as a man recovers some fortune he has lost.”
Charles: “Then I cannot say your majesty.”
King Henry: “Time, your Grace. Of all losses, time is the most irrecoverable for it can never be redeemed.”
I get to thinking and insightful about it. The great old King Henry VIII even with his profound power, glory, supremacy and dominance, still he was reminded by TIME that he is mortal and everything has an end. For which, I realized that life is too short and we must live life to the fullest. Appreciate everything we have, meet people, enjoy, explore, and have time with your love one’s for you wouldn’t know when your time is done. As I quote King Henry VIII one of his citation “Even so, man appears on earth for a little while. But, of what went before this life, and what will follow, we know nothing”
Taxi Driver: Well, go on, picture it. You wave goodbye at the airport, she gets on the airplane, you never see her again… could you live with that?
Ian Wyndham: No… No, I couldn’t.
Taxi Driver: Well, then you know what to do. Appreciate her and what you have. Just love her.
Ian Wyndham: I have to tell you this and you need to hear it. I loved you since I met you, but I wouldn’t allow myself to truly feel it until today. I was always thinking ahead, making decisions soaked with fear… Today, because of you… what I learned from you; every choice I made was different and my life has completely changed… and I’ve learned that if you do that, then you’re living your life fully… it doesn’t matter if you have five minutes or fifty years. Samantha if not for today, if not for you I would never have known love at all… So thank you for being the person who taught me to love… and to be loved.
I don’t have much time. I don’t mean literally, I mean you’re out buying ice cream and you’ll be home soon. But I have a feeling this is the last letter, because there is only one thing left to tell you. It isn’t to go down memory lane or make you buy a lamp, you can take care of yourself without any help from me. It’s to tell you how much you move me, how you changed me. You made me a man, by loving me Holly. And for that, I am eternally grateful… literally. If you can promise me anything, promise me that whenever you’re sad, or unsure, or you lose complete faith, that you’ll try to see yourself through my eyes. Thank you for the honor of being my wife. I’m a man with no regrets. How lucky am I. You made my life, Holly. But I’m just one chapter in yours. There’ll be more. I promise. So here it comes, the big one. Don’t be afraid to fall in love again. Watch out for that signal, when life as you know it ends.
P.S. I will always love you.
you said you wanted me to fall in love again, and maybe one day I will. But there are all kinds of love out there. This is my one and only life. And it’s a great and terrible and short and endless thing, and none of us come out of it alive. I don’t have a plan… except, it’s time my mom laughed again. She has never seen the world. She has never seen Ireland. So, I’m taking her back where we started. Maybe now she’ll understand. I don’t know how you did it, but you brought me back from the dead. I’ll write to you again soon.
